British pop rock band The Vamps have, in their five-year history, stolen the show with chart-topping hits and high-selling records. Despite being a young band, they have risen to the top of UK pop music scene, winning numerous awards and headlining worldwide shows in the process.
Following their formation, The Vamps released debut single, ‘Can We Dance’, in 2013. The single peaked at Number 2 in the UK, before The Vamps released further singles as part of their debut self-titled album. The album, which reached Number 2 in the UK and entered the Top 40 in the US, also included the Top Ten hits ‘Wild Heart’, ‘Last Night’, ‘Somebody to You’ and ‘Oh Cecilia (Breaking My Heart)’. The band won numerous awards for their debut album, including Best British Single at the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards for ‘Last Night’ and the Hot Hit Award for Best Group.
The Vamps went on a series of World Tours and shows after the album was released, seeing them support Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez on their London shows.
They also enjoyed continued success with their second album, ‘Wake Up’, which again entered the Top Ten in the UK. The album was followed by a World Tour, which consisted of shows in 18 countries and featured support acts such as The Tide, Hometown and Conor Maynard.
