Aavez Darbar, an Indian singer, who hails from the city of Pune is first known for his prowess as a Sufi singer. Like a few fortunate singers in the region, Darbar’s father is one who is a renowned singer in his city and hence has been instrumental in Aavez’s training and support during his early stages.
While he is a soulful Sufi singer and performer, he also carries out his range towards Ghazals, folk-songs, religious music (known as Bhajans), fusion and rock too.
Darbar has performed at concerts around the world supporting various accomplished Indian mainstream and Sufi singers alike, along with local classical and fusion bands, with his own team of musicians and dancers too.
