DJ Luck & MC Neat are two parts of the British musical trio which also includes Nick Trampo Porter. Having been in the UK garage and house music scene for the best part of two decades, the trio has made waves across the UK and further afield and have established themselves as some of the hottest garage producers in the game.
The Garage artists are best known for their single ‘A Little Bit of Luck’ which, released in 1999 and went on to reach No. 9 in the UK charts earning them widespread. They followed up the success with a cover of Stevie Wonder’s Master Blaster entitled Masterblaster 2000. The remake reached No. 5 in the UK singles chart.
Luck & Neat continued their success with further remakes and original works such as ‘Ain’t No Stoppin’ Us’, which hit No. 8 in 2000 and ‘Piano Loco’ which hit the No. 12 spot and earned them an invitation to perform on Top of the Pops.
With success in the singles charts, DJ Luck & MC Neat then worked to create their debut album ‘A Little Bit of Luck’ which was released in 2001 and quickly followed up by another album titled ‘It’s All Good’ the following year.
Through guidance from some of the genre’s greats, including underground artist Shy Cookie, the trio worked live instruments into their productions and live performances which helped them further progress their careers from the underground scene to a more mainstream audience.
