DJ Chetas is one of the hottest names in the game in India right now, and with a rapid rise to the top he looks set to continue to entertain crowds and establish dance music within Bollywood for many years to come. With a career spanning over eleven years, Chetas got into DJing by following his passion for music and has since performed across the country and worked with some of the most talented artists in the industry.
The Mumbai born artist became the first Indian DJ to break into DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs list, where he debuted at 59th place in 2015. He continued this success by jumping to 33rd the following year. DJ Chetas’ first recognition came in 2014 when he was voted India’s Favourite Bollywood DJ by the My Fav DJ poll, an award that he also won the following year.
DJ Chetas popularity can be attributed to his ability to mash-up Bollywood vocals into his mixes, relating his sound to the younger generation of India.
He has added to his impressive repertoire of shows and performances across the region by becoming the only Indian DJ to host a 2 hour show at prime time on 9XM called House of Dance. Indian Premier League cricket team the Kolkata Knight Riders also employ him as their official DJ.
