Indian singer Najim Arshad has risen to prominence over the years through his Award-winning songs which have been featured in numerous Bollywood films. Ever since winning the 2007 reality show Idea Star Singer, Arshad has collaborated with several of the industry’s top names and has been recognized and respected by fans and peers on numerous levels.
Arshad first debuted as a singer with ‘Mizhineer’ on ‘Mission 90 Days’, which was directed by Mahor Ravi. He again joined up with the director a year later for ‘Kurukshetra’. Arshad continued to be featured on movies throughout his career, but also gained widespread praise for his third album, ‘I’m Here’.
Riding the success of the album, Arshad earnt himself respect for his continued success and for repeatedly releasing music. The year after his album released he was awarded several accolades including the Lions Club Best Singer, Best Male Singer by the Kerala Film Critics Association and Amrtia TV and the Gulf Malayalam Music Award.
Arshad was again awarded for his work in 2014 and 2015, earning the EFA Award for Voice of the Year and Best Male Singer at the Mangalam Publications Film Awards. Among his resume include box-office hits such as Casanova, Doctor Love and Diamond Necklace.
