A major name in global luxury hospitality is on its way to Dubai. Cheval Blanc, the high-end resort brand known for its ultra-exclusive properties in iconic places like Seychelles, St Tropez, and the Maldives, is officially making its UAE debut.

The project is being brought to life by Shamal Holding, a Dubai-based investment firm, in partnership with Cheval Blanc. Together, they are creating a private island resort with plans to open in 2029.

The upcoming Cheval Blanc in Dubai will offer 30 suites and 40 private pool villas (called Maisons). Each will be designed in the brand’s signature style — modern, elegant, and calm, with a strong focus on design, detail, and privacy.

The retreat will bring Cheval Blanc’s core philosophy to the Gulf: offering guests a place to reset, unwind, and experience tailored wellness rituals, refined dining, and quiet luxury in a secluded setting. Cheval Blanc is known for working with brands like Dior and Guerlain for spa and wellness treatments at its other locations — so it’s safe to say similar partnerships may shape the Dubai experience as well.

Dubai’s hospitality scene is continuing to grow, and more big names are on the way. Jumeirah Asora Bay is scheduled for 2029, adding even more variety to the luxury beachfront offering. Even earlier, Kimpton Dubai will open in Business Bay in 2026.

Plenty to look forward to, whether you’re a local planning a staycation or a traveller keeping an eye on what’s new. Stay tuned for more details as these hotels get closer to opening.
