Jumeirah Group is adding another name to its expanding portfolio of high-end properties with the unveiling of Jumeirah Asora Bay, a new ultra-luxury hotel and residence project coming to La Mer South. Scheduled to open in 2029, the development will bring a more intimate and refined take on resort living to Dubai’s coastline.

Unlike the mega-properties Jumeirah is often associated with, Asora Bay will take a boutique-style approach to luxury, offering:

  • 103 rooms and suites
  • 20 private villas
  • Arabesque-meets-modern architecture
  • Wellness spa, infinity pools, and a private members’ club
  • Fitness centre with the brand’s signature facilities

The resort is designed to blend exclusivity with comfort, with a focus on high-end, tailored experiences rather than grand scale.

The Jumeirah Residences Asora Bay, located on a hillside near the hotel, will offer:

  • 29 homes with panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf and Dubai skyline
  • Four- to seven-bedroom apartments and penthouses
  • Six oceanfront villas

This isn’t Jumeirah’s only residential expansion. The group has also announced Jumeirah Residences Emirates Towers, bringing 754 new apartments to the city with a full lifestyle offering — including padel courts, fitness studios, a private cinema, co-working spaces, and a podium pool terrace.

Details around the restaurants and F&B offerings at Asora Bay haven’t been revealed yet. But considering Jumeirah’s track record with standout dining experiences at its existing properties, expectations are naturally high. Its La Mer South location also suggests the potential for striking beachfront venues.

With Asora Bay, the brand is clearly pivoting toward more personalised, design-driven hospitality — and the wait until 2029 might just be worth it.
