If French pastries are your weakness, keep an eye on Yas Mall. Yann Couvreur Pâtisserie is opening a new branch there soon, giving Abu Dhabi another place to pick up buttery croissants, cakes, and desserts.

The menu stays true to the brand’s Parisian roots. Expect flaky croissants, creamy vanilla flan, raisin rolls, lemon cake, chocolate marble cake, and a selection of French desserts.

One of the highlights is Yann Couvreur’s signature creation, Merveille. The dessert combines light milk chocolate mousse, hazelnut, meringue, and a chocolate shell finished with the brand’s fox monogram.

Also at Yas Mall: Chocomelt has reopened on Level 1, opposite DKNY.

Other UAE branches also serve savoury options like Hot Fox Egg Truffle and Hot Fox Zaatar Puff Pastry. There’s no confirmation yet on whether the Yas Mall address will add the same items to the menu.

Yann Couvreur Pâtisserie already has one Abu Dhabi location at Level L1 of The Galleria Al Maryah Island, plus two locations in Dubai at Dubai Mall and Dubai World Trade Center.

If you love all things sweet, don’t miss the annual Liwa Date Festival in Al Dhafra this July.
