With Eid Al Adha around the corner, Riyadh’s transport authority has rolled out an adjusted schedule for metro and bus services, aiming to accommodate shifting travel habits during the holiday period. The changes will be in place from June 5 to June 14, before regular operations resume on June 15.

Metro Operating Hours during Eid Al Adha in Riyadh

Metro services across all lines will end daily at midnight during the holiday. However, start times will vary by date and line.

Orange Line:

  • Daily: 10 AM to midnight
  • Back to regular schedule (6 AM start) on June 15

Other Metro Lines:

  • June 5: Start at 8 AM
  • June 6 to 8: Start at 10 AM
  • June 9 to 11: Start at 8 AM
  • from June 12: Regular schedule resumes (starting from 6 AM)

City Bus and On-Demand Services during Eid Al Adha in Riyadh

City buses will run daily from 5 AM to midnight between June 5 and June 12. Additionally, on-demand bus services will remain available throughout the entire holiday period, especially in busy zones near commercial centres and gathering points, offering flexibility for those on the move.
