If you’re planning a visit to one of Dubai’s big public parks, it’s worth knowing that parking management is about to change. Parkin, the city’s official parking operator, has signed an agreement with Dubai Municipality to take over several free public parking facilities at some of the emirate’s most visited parks.
Under the agreement, Parkin will begin operating select parking areas owned by Dubai Municipality. While the specific locations haven’t been named yet, it’s possible that the list could include parks like Al Safa Park, Dubai Frame, and Quranic Park, which currently fall under the municipality’s management.

The deal also outlines plans to work together on planning and regulatory standards, simplifying permit procedures, and improving data exchange to help enhance public services.
On top of that, the partnership could explore the development of multi-storey parking structures, more regulated parking facilities, and value-added parking services during major events at municipality sites. It may also lead to the introduction of smart access and new payment systems in the future.
Earlier this week, Parkin also introduced a new paid parking zone – 365N – in Al Khail Gate. If you live in that area or planning to visit, be sure to check the updated tariffs and zone details.
