Design fans, your November just got a whole lot more inspiring with Tanween returning to Ithra (King Abdulaziz Centre for World Culture). From November 17 to 22, Dhahran will become the place to explore how design can solve problems, spark conversation, and bring creative minds together.

The theme for 2025 is ‘Design the Unspoken,’ inviting participants to look beyond the obvious and discover how design can respond to needs that often go unnoticed. Across Ithra’s iconic Plaza, Great Hall, and Lush Gardens, visitors can expect installations, talks, hands-on sessions, and experiences that push creativity to new heights.

A standout addition this year is the Tanween Challenges open call. Designers from around the globe can register until October 26 to take part in six-day design sprints.

Tanween will bring together professionals, students, and design enthusiasts. There will be exhibitions, curated workshops, a design market featuring international brands, the Tanween Challenges, and Tanween Majlis, a series of panel discussions led by global creative leaders.

And if one week of design isn’t enough, keep your calendar ready for Downtown Design Riyadh in February 2026 — another chance to immerse yourself in Saudi Arabia’s thriving creative scene and discover what’s next in design.
