Looks like the Fresh Prince is swapping the big screen for the big stage, and Sharjah Book Fair visitors are getting front-row seats. Will Smith is heading to the SIBF 2025 for a live talk that promises a memorable evening of stories, humour, and insight.
He’ll take the stage on Friday, November 14, at 8 PM at the Main Stage, Expo Centre Sharjah, where fans can catch him in person sharing stories about creativity, success, and finding purpose beyond fame.
While the big audience knows him for his roles in ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,’ ‘The Pursuit of Happyness,’ and ‘Men in Black‘ Smith is also an author of two books. His memoir ‘Will,’ co-written with Mark Manson, takes readers through his journey from early struggles to worldwide fame and the personal growth that shaped him along the way. He’s also written ‘Just the Two of Us,’ a children’s book inspired by his hit song.
Also part of this year’s lineup is the 2023 Booker Prize winner Paul Lynch, author of ‘Prophet Song.’ The Irish novelist will appear on Saturday, November 8, at 8:30 PM in Forum 1 for a talk titled “Paul Lynch on Fiction, Freedom, and Fear.”
The fair also hosts its annual Thriller Festival from November 8 to 11, welcoming 13 international authors who know how to keep readers hooked till the last page.
The 44th edition of Sharjah International Book Fair 2025 runs from November 5 to 16 at Expo Centre Sharjah under the theme ‘Between You and a Book.’ Organised by the Sharjah Book Authority, it continues to draw millions of visitors each year, making it one of the most influential book fairs in the world.
With Hollywood charisma, new activities, and award-winning authors, SIBF 2025 promises to deliver a November to remember. Stay tuned for more updates as Sharjah gets ready to turn the page on another remarkable literary chapter!
