In celebration of UAE National Day, four popular public beaches in Dubai will be exclusively reserved for families during the extended four-day weekend, from November 30 to December 3. The following beaches will be designated as family-only:
- Jumeirah Beach 2
- Jumeirah 3
- Umm Suqeim 1
- Umm Suqeim 2
This initiative, introduced by the Dubai Municipality, aligns with the festive spirit of Eid Al Etihad, the new name for UAE National Day, celebrated by both public and private sector employees during a four-day weekend. The director of the Public Beaches and Waterways Department, Ibrahim Mohammad Juma, highlighted that this measure ensures an organized flow of visitors while prioritizing families’ comfort during the holiday rush.
To further enhance safety, the municipality has assigned an integrated safety and rescue team of 135 personnel, complemented by a 60-member field supervisory team to manage operations. Families can look forward to a peaceful 4-day weekend along Dubai’s picturesque coastline, creating memories during Eid Al Etihad national celebration.
