Dubai’s love for croissants is about to go up a notch. Hofmann Bakery, an award-winning Spanish patisserie, is getting ready to open its first UAE branch in DIFC. The Dubai launch marks brand’s first international expansion, with further locations expected to open across the GCC.
Known for its croissant creations, the bakery will serve signature items like the Classic Croissant, Mascarpone Croissant, and Chocolate Croissant, along with cookies, cakes and other pastries.

The bakery was founded in 2008 by Mey Hofmann, and is now run by her daughter, Silvia Hofmann. It was originally the final addition to a three-part culinary project in Spain — a cooking school, a fine-dining restaurant, and the bakery itself. Today, it’s known for reimagining classic recipes with a decadent twist and has built a loyal following in Spain.
While the exact opening date hasn’t been confirmed, the DIFC location is expected to quickly become a go-to spot for pastry fans in the city.

Once open, Hofmann Bakery is likely to attract anyone craving high-quality European-style baked goods – whether for a quick breakfast, a midday treat, or an after-lunch dessert.
Whether you’re into flaky pastries or rich cakes, Dubai’s bakery scene is only getting better. While you wait for Hofmann to open its doors, explore other standout bakeries in the city: ALICA Bakery, located in Port De La Mer, or Maison Devoille founded by UAE’s Pastry Chef of the Year.
