Dreaming of a private island getaway without leaving Dubai? Zuhha Island is about to make it real. Located at the World Islands, this new resort from the team behind Abu Dhabi’s Zaya Nurai Island will combine ultra-luxury residential villas with chic beachfront villas for visitors. Options range from cozy one-bedroom hideaways to sprawling eight-bedroom retreats, perfect for families or groups of friends looking for a private escape.

Construction of Zuhha by Zaya has been moving fast since the project was announced in January 2023. Most of the 30 residential villas have already sold, with just a handful left, and the first residents are expected before the end of 2025.

Zuhha by Zaya Resort opens for bookings in early 2026, offering a tropical staycation just 12 minutes from Dubai’s mainland. Pricing is yet to be announced, but the island experience promises to be worth it.

The resort will feature 70 modern resort villas perched right on the waterfront. Many come with private pools, so you can enjoy ultimate privacy while soaking in the views. Wellness takes center stage here, with a serene spa and healing centre, a central swimming pool, and floating padel and tennis courts to stay active.

The All Day Dining restaurant offers everything from freshly baked morning treats with coffee and a newspaper, to afternoon wine tastings paired with farmhouse cheeses and charcuterie, all the way to oysters at sunset with ocean views. Vaulted communal areas, a lively bar, and private indoor and outdoor tables give you plenty of ways to enjoy the space.

Zuhha by Zaya promises the perfect mix of luxury, privacy, and fun for anyone looking for a unique escape. And if you’re already dreaming ahead, another private island luxury resort, Cheval Blanc, is set to open in Dubai in 2029. Stay tuned for more updates on luxury escapes right in the city.
