If you’ve been waiting to fly between Doha and Beirut again, flights are back on the schedule. Qatar Airways has restarted direct routes between the two cities from April 14, 2026. The connection had briefly paused in March, and travel is now open again.

At the same time, entry rules to Qatar have changed. Visa-on-arrival is no longer available for Lebanese passport holders. A visa is now required before departure.

Here’s what to do before you fly to Qatar:

  • Apply online through the official Hayya platform (hayya.qa)
  • Print the visa confirmation and bring it with you to present at border control on arrival
