Egypt’s calendar is about to get very interesting this October. An iconic location, top electronic music artists, and four nights of partying. Want to know what’s coming? EXIT, the iconic Serbian music festival, is bringing its Egypt edition called STARLIGHT to the Great Pyramids of Giza.
So if you’re into electronic music, make sure to keep October 8 to 11 free.
For four nights, the Giza plateau will turn into an open-air electronic music venue with international artists performing under the desert sky. Expect futuristic electronic music, massive open-air shows, and the atmosphere of the ancient surroundings.
STARLIGHT is also one of the headline stops on EXIT’s global tour, which includes stops at Croatia, Macedonia, Malta, Egypt, India, and a return to Serbia.
And if you’re already wondering who’s performing, the wait won’t be long. STARLIGHT’s line-up will be revealed on Monday, May 25.
Want to See the Pyramids Before STARLIGHT?
STARLIGHT will definitely be one of the more unforgettable ways to see the Pyramids this October. But if you don’t want to wait until festival season, you can book a full-day tour for Cairo that covers the Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, Saqqara, and Memphis.
Planning to visit the Pyramids on your own? A skip-the-line ticket can save you a lot of waiting time, which is especially wise under the Egypt sun.
