Sharjah is about to get wilder than ever. Shurooq is bringing a one-of-a-kind safari experience to the UAE with LUX Al Bridi, a luxury resort with tents where you can swap city streets for roaming wildlife, plush lodges, and real-life adventure. Originally announced in 2024, the resort is now slated to open in the last quarter of 2026.

Part of the Sharjah Safari project — the largest wildlife safari outside Africa — guests will have the rare chance to see the Big Five in a desert setting: rhinos, buffalo, elephants, lions, and leopards. The reserve will feature two main areas: one recreates highlights of the African Rift Valley, and the other is a full safari adventure.
Sharjah’s new projects prove that it knows how to surprise. From the eco-retreat Nomad, with polar-powered trailers tucked into the mountains, to Above the Clouds, perched 850 metres above sea level, the emirate is full of fresh ways to unwind and reconnect with nature.
