Jabal Akhdar Festival 2026 Is Back With 45 Days of Summer Fun

If escaping the heat sounds like a good idea, add this event in Oman to your plans. Jabal Akhdar Festival 2026 starts on July 15, filling summer with cultural activities, family entertainment, and local experiences.

The festival takes place in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate. Alongside cultural performances and recreational entertainment, you can spend time at new Jabal Akhdar Park, browse a large local bazaar, and try some of the festival’s newest attractions.

More than 85 local businesses, farmers, and artisans will take part in the bazaar.

One of the newest additions this year is the holographic market, where digital projections create interactive displays. The programme also includes aerial games.

Jabal Akhdar Festival 2026 continues until August 29. If you’re planning a mountain getaway this summer, you’ll have 45 days to explore the festival, enjoy the weather, and discover what this part of Oman has to offer.
