Board Game Adventure (18 July 2026 – April 2027)
This exhibition for young visitors and families presents 30 items from the museum’s collection alongside regional and international loans. Visitors can follow the paths of games such as chess, carrom, ludo and mancala, with early examples from ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia on display.
Spices and Wonders: Sailing the Indian Ocean (14 October 2026 – 14 February 2027)
The show traces maritime trade routes from Antiquity to the 17th century. Spices, textiles, ceramics and other cargo tell how Africa, the Middle East, Europe, South Asia and Southeast Asia connected through navigation and commerce.

Art Here 2026 (11 November 2026 – 28 February 2027)
The sixth edition under the theme Confluences invited artists from the GCC and India to examine shared histories, migration and cultural exchange.
Living Legacies. Protecting Heritage. Building Hope (23 November 2026 – 25 April 2027)
The exhibition shares work by communities restoring cultural heritage in fragile settings, combining artefacts, projections and testimonies in a multi‑sensory layout.

Alongside the main exhibitions, the museum’s programme includes talks, film screenings, performances, workshops, podcasts and guided tours.
Family offerings include learning paths, workbooklets and creative activities such as Book and Easel, Drawing at the Museum, Quantum Dome Project and Art in Scents.
