Pakistani dancer, model and actress Sohail Ali Abro is best known for her work in Pakistani TV serials. Having started her career as a model and endorsing several major brands while at it, Abro gained much fame from her entry into TV serials, with namely “Saath Pardon Mein”.
She was also knowns for her dance skills, which she displayed flawlessly in a dance-performance for reality show ‘Naach’. While this too added to her popularity, she was also well-known in the industry for her professionalism, talent and confidence, and hence was readily one of the first names amongst casting crew. So much so that her debut film role got her Tarang Housefull Awards nomination for Best Supporting Actress in 2014. 2 years later, she bagged the ARY Film Award for Best Actress for her role in “Jawani Phir Nahi Ani”, while being nominated for “Wrong No.” as well.
From the home front, Abro was born in Lahore but raised in Sukkur moving onto to showbiz from her early-20’s. Abro has spoken at length about being fortunate to have supportive parents who instill a lot of confidence in her and hence help her succeed.
