Dave East is a rapper and actor from the United States. He started his career in 2010 and gained recognition in 2014 after releasing his eighth mixtape, Black Rose.
The mixtape caught the attention of Nas, a fellow New York rapper, who signed East to his record label, Mass Appeal Records, in partnership with Def Jam Recordings.
