Simon Dunmore is Defected; plain and simple. Without him, one of the world’s longest-standing and most highly respected house music labels would not exist, and the current landscape of electronic music would appear that little bit flatter. 2016 was a landmark year for both Simon and the label, with our first ever Defected festival in Croatia, the 500th Defected release and Glitterbox flourishing more than ever before. Moving into 2017, Simon continues be the guiding light in house music, with the focus on releasing greatest music, putting on greatest events and giving people the greatest dancefloor moments of their lives.
