Emerging from Glasgow in 1986, Texas is a Scottish rock band known for their captivating sound and captivating live performances. Led by the dynamic vocals of Sharleen Spiteri, the band consists of Johnny McElhone on bass guitar, Ally McErlaine on lead guitar, Michael Bannister on keyboards, and Craig Vear on drums.  

Their debut album, "Southside," released in 1989, propelled Texas to international fame with its blend of rock and pop, featuring hit singles like "I Don't Want a Lover" and "Everyday Now." Since then, Texas has continued to captivate audiences with their evolving sound and heartfelt lyrics.  

With ten studio albums to their name, Texas has sold over 40 million records worldwide, establishing themselves as one of Scotland's most successful bands. Their contributions to music have been recognized with awards, including the Ivor Novello Award for International Achievement.
