Knxwledge

American hip-hop musician Knxwledge is widely regarded as one of the most talented and experimental musicians in the scene today. With countless albums and EPs to his name, Knxwledge has released music spanning across numerous genres including old-school hip-hop, rap, jazz and soul.

Born and raised in New Jersey, Glen Boothe began producing as Knxwledge in 2009, releasing music on online platforms MySpace and Bandcamp. His music began to gather attention and his LP ‘Klouds’ was released by All City Records in 2010. He continued to release music and went on to release tracks alongside many underground rappers and singers.

Knxwledge moved to Los Angeles, where he released Buttrskotch in 2012 as well as a compilation of his online releases. His second LP, Kauliflowr, was released in 2013 and he went on to produce tracks for Homeboy Sandman and Pyramid Vritra the following year.

Knxwledge’s most famous work came in 2015 when he worked with Kendrick Lamar on To Pimp a Butterfly. Since then, Knxwledge has worked with numerous top rappers including Earl Sweatshirt, Lil Wayne and Prodigy.
