Marlon Wayans

When you mention actor, writer, producer, comedian Marlon Wayans, talking about the entertainment family he comes from is inevitable. Famously referred to as ‘comedy royalty’, Wayans is youngest of 10 siblings amongst whom are notable actors such as Keenan Ivory, Damon, Shawn, Kim and Nadia, all of whom grew up in New York from very humble beginnings.

Wayans’ older siblings were already gaining recognition by the time he was in high-school, which lead him to approach his brother Keenan Ivory for a role in one of his productions. Following this entry, Wayans has been known to take up comedy roles along with his brother Shawn – the likes of the ‘Scary Movie’ ‘White Chicks’ and TV sitcom ‘The Wayans Bros.’, all establishing Wayans as a comedian in his own right.

Lately, Wayans has been successfully on tour world over showcasing his comic side by way of stand-up comedy.
