Indian actress Sruthi Lakshmi has, in her lengthy career, stolen the show in Malayalam cinema multiple times with her energetic performances. Having started in 2000, she has starred in many of the region’s top films, making her one of the most sought after actresses in the business today.

Lakshmi trained as a classical dancer, inspired by her elder sister who had also embarked on an acting career, she went on and pursued her passion for the art. Her career started when she was just 10 years old, being cast in the television series ‘Nizhalukal’.

Following her debut, Lakshmi continued to appear in TV shows on the popular Asianet network, adding ‘Chithralekha’ and ‘Pokkuveyil’ to her resume. She has also added more television appearances to her works in recent years, starring on ‘Let’s Dance’ seasons 2 and 3 as a Judge as well as Flowers TV’s ‘Star Challenge’ as a contestant.

Lakshmi has enjoyed a vibrant career on the big screen as well, making her debut in ‘Varnakkazchchakal’ as a Child Artist in 2000. She returned to the role numerous times, before making appearances in ‘Holidays’, ‘Bangkok Summer’ and ‘Hotel California’, amongst others.
