Varun Dhawan

Indian actor Varun Dhawan is one of the top actors in Bollywood. At just 29 years old he has starred in numerous films alongside many of Bollywood’s top actors and actresses and has established himself as one of the hottest actors in the industry.

Dhawan’s major acting breakthrough came in 2012 when he starred in romantic comedy Student of the Year. The film was a commercial success, earning over $14 million worldwide. In 2014 Dhawan starred in Main Tera Hero and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. He was praised by several publications for his performances and both films were box-office hits. Dhawan received his first Filmfare nomination in 2015 for his acting in Badlapur.

Dhawan performed alongside Shraddha Kapoor in ABCD 2, the highly anticipated sequel to dance movie ABCD: Any Body Can Dance. The film was a major success, earning over $23 million. He also starred in Diwale alongside Shah Rukh Khan in what became one of Bollywood’s highest-grossing films of all time. In 2016 Dhawan starred in Dishoom with Jacqueline Fernandez, in which he won the Star Screen Award for Best Comedian.

Dhawan’s career has seen him nominated and win numerous awards, many of which have praised his comic abilities. He has also worked alongside many of Bollywood’s top names and is highly likely to go on to achieve further successes in his movies.
