Liz Bains is a British comedian based in Dubai. She was a semi- finalist in the 2023 UK Funny Women Awards and highlighted as one to watch for the future. She specialises in observational humour, voicing polite frustration at the world around her.

She has performed comedy in the UAE, the UK, the US, Saudi Arabia, Spain and Iraq.

Liz has opened for major acts including Jason Manford, Bassem Youseff Schalk bezuidenhout and Sean Walsh. She is the author of the amusing travelogue America Through A Train Window.
