Highly influenced by jazz, blues and gospel, her music clearly shows this eclectic mix. Furthermore, Sannie was brought up in London and Cape Town by a Portuguese mother and South African father, which further deepened her love for a collaboration of cultures, styles and music. Playing both piano and guitar also enhanced her music-writing skill giving her the ability to meld several genres and cultures into her sound.

Fox’s bandmates brought life to the music she had written, ensuring the feel and the vision she has had was encapsulated correctly.
