James Locksmith

Australian DJ and producer James Locksmith has firmly established himself as one of the top DJs in Dubai and the Middle East region. With over 20 years’ experience, Locksmith has performed at many of the UAEs top clubs alongside numerous world-renowned artists.

Locksmith began his career during the 90's as a DJ for private functions and house parties. And in 2001, as a professional DJ playing in bars and clubs in Sydney.

In 2011 he relocated to Dubai and became a founding member of the ground breaking DUST parties. Locksmith's most notable work in the UAE is producing and curating Red Bull Music Academy events since 2012, bringing cutting edge and alternative club music and artists, as well as Vibe Series events since 2013.

As a DJ, Locksmith has opened for numerous acts including Giles Peterson, Pat Mahoney, Nicolas Jaar, Benji B and Daddy G, amongst others. Known for his ability to connect a range of genres in his live sets, including house, disco, techno, funk and beats, Locksmith is a highly sought after act.
