Arash

Arash is an Iranian-Swedish singer who, in his 12 year long career, has entertained thousands of people through his music and live shows. Despite growing up in Sweden, Arash maintains his connection with his heritage by singing in Farsi, the language of Iran, and relating his music to the Persian Gulf.

His debut album, Arash, was released in 2005 and the singles Boro Boro and Temptation were both received well across Europe. The album went on to be certified 3 times Platinum in Russia and Gold in Germany, Greece and Slovakia, earning Arash credibility for being a truly European performer. The album also received praise in the Middle East and his home country, Iran.

Arash has since released two albums, Donya and Superman, the former of which reached Gold status in Poland. The track Always, from Donya, reached No. 3 in the Swedish chart and ranked highly in Greece. The song would also become the chosen track for Azerbaijan in the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest, which landed them third place in the highly esteemed competition.

The album Superman, released in 2014, also featured popular Western artists Sean Paul, T-Pain and Snoop Dogg, with the track She Makes Me Go featuring Sean Paul, reaching Gold status in Germany and Switzerland.

Along with widespread commercial musical success, Arash has performed around the world at numerous concerts and festivals.
