Nick Warren

English house music DJ and producer Nick Warren has firmly established himself amongst dance music legends. With a career that has spanned over 4 decades, Warren is widely regarded as one of the pioneers of electronic dance music, having been there from the very beginning.

Having started with DJ gigs in Bristol in the early 90s, Warren secured a residency at Cream nightclub in Liverpool. He also began mixing the Global Underground series, one of the leading compilation albums at the time.

Warren also worked with Jody Wisternoff on the Way Out West project, releasing several productions, most notably 2001 ‘Intensify’, which went to Number 61 in the UK Album Charts, and ‘Don’t Look Now’ which was released in 2004.

Since then, Warren has become the Head of A&R at Hope Recordings, overseeing much of the labels releases and assisting new producer in releasing their music. Warren has also put out a number of his own productions on the label, including ‘Buenos Aires’, which was the labels 100th release.

Warren regularly tours the globe performing for both underground faithful’s and new-wave commercial fans, but he continues to stay true to his heritage and will always be remembered as one of the first DJs to push the boundaries od dance music.
