Birds of Mind is a Paris-based DJ and producer duo made up of Alex Heim and Adrian Carreno — two artists with very different backgrounds who found a shared creative language in electronic music. Alex studied filmmaking in New York City and developed a deep passion for music through extensive travels around the globe, eventually spending half the year DJing on the island of Mykonos, where the natural surroundings continue to inspire the sound. The names behind Birds of Mind first crossed paths through a mutual friend, and after one spontaneous studio session in 2016, the project was born — their very first tracks signed to the German label Under Your Skin.
