MistaJam

As one of the leading names in hip-hop and dance music DJing, MistaJam has established himself as a technically skilled floor-filler. Throughout his career, MistaJam has made a name for himself on the airwaves of BBC Radio 1 and has travelled the world performing at numerous events.

Having started his career as part of a hip-hop crew in his home city of Nottingham, MistaJam began to get radio work and eventually made the move over to the UK’s leading young channel, BBC Radio 1. It was here that MistaJam would become known for his show that represents hip-hop, R&B, house, reggae and upcoming genres such as dubstep and grime.

More recently MistaJam has been featured on Radio 1’s sister channel, BBC Radio1Xtra, which has seen him win numerous award including the ARIAS Music Broadcaster of the Year in 2016. He also hosted a show on Siruis XM’s Globaization Channel 4, making him a truly international radio host.

MistaJam has also been around the world performing DJ sets which blend a mixture of house and hip-hop. Performances include a DJ set in the East Dance Tent at 2010’s Glastonbury Festival and at Leicester City’s Premier League victory parade in 2016.
