British stand-up comedian Ross Noble is one of the leading names on the UK comedy circuit. Praised for his surreal and absurdist sense of humour, Noble’s career has seen him appear on numerous TV shows.

Born in Newcastle upon Tyne, The Geordie’s career started, performing stand-up in the late 1990s, quickly earning praise for his quick wit and hilarious stories. His 2000 Edinburgh Fringe Festival show earnt him the Time Out Award, a year after he earnt a Perrier Award nomination at the same festival.

To date, Noble has performed across the world, including notable appearances at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and Latitude Festival. He has also toured several times, with many of his headlining shows being released on DVD and YouTube. His 2007 ‘Nobleism’ tour was live screened across the country and was a show that earnt him the 10th place ranking on Channel 4’s ‘100 Greatest Stand-Ups’ list, for which he was also ranked 11th in 2010.

Noble has more recently become praised for his strong appearances on several of the UK’s top comedy shows. He is a regular guest on ‘QI’ and ‘Have I Got News For You’, for which he holds the highest number of guest appearances.
