Lucky Ali

Singer – songwriter, musician, composer, record producer and actor, critically acclaimed Lucky Ali has truly made his mark in the Indian entertainment industry. 

Lucky Ali made his debut on the Indian music scene with the popular award winning soulful album Sunoh, establishing him as a popular singer for his distinctive music and soulful ballad style of singing and his melodious voice in Bollywood.

Despite being the second of eight children, the son of Bollywood actor Mehmood and the nephew of Bollywood actress and dancer, Minoo Mumtaz; Lucky Ali made his own mark in the Bollywood industry as an acclaimed actor starring alongside legends such as Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Kumar Gaurav and Suniel Shetty. He also featured as a playback artist for several films including Ek Baap Chhe Bete and Dushman Duniya Ka allowing him to work with composers like AR Rahman, Vishal Bhardwaj, Vishal Shekhar, Mikey McCleary and many more.

Lucky Ali is one of the most versatile people in the industry and although best known for his music, singing and acting, early in his life he also worked humble odd jobs such as horse breeding, cleaning, selling carpets and on an oil rig in Pondicherry. Now, he owns a farm in Bangalore and spends his time as a full-time philosopher and an advocate of organic farming.
