Mohammad Assaf is a Palestinian pop singer well known for being the winner of the second season of Arab Idol, broadcast by the MBC network.
In the summer of 2012, Mohammed Assaf attended the first auditions of Arab idol season 2 in Cairo, Egypt, he had to overcome many obstacles in order to attend the auditions.
On 22, June 2013, Mohammed Assaf was won the Arab Idol contest, and that triggered a wave of celebration throughout Palestine and the Arab world. His win was covered extensively in the international press.
Since winning Arab Idol, Mohammed Assaf have been touring the world to a sold out concerts in the Arab World, USA, and Europe.
He was chosen by Arabian Business Magazine among the World's 100 Most Powerful Arabs - Heroes on April 2014, and among the World's 100 Most Powerful Arabs - Under 40 on April 2015.
