Russian comedian and actor Timur Tanya is an all-round hard-working and extremely talented performer. Having joined up with his local KVN team to compete across the Russian-speaking region in the well-loved comedy game show, Tanya has taken the team to the top of their game, gaining fans across the Russian speaking world.

Quickly establishing himself as one of the best cast members, Tanya was promoted to be the team captain of the KVN team ‘Narts from Abkhazia’. The team managed to progress quickly and were crowned the Higher League Champions in 2005.

Following this meteoric rise to the top, Tanya moved on to participate in numerous television projects and cultural events across Russia. He is also a highly accomplished director and often runs several small-scale events such as talent shows, sports events and comedy schools.
