Early B (28 February 1957 – 11 September 1994), born Earlando Arrington Neil, was a pioneering Jamaican dancehall and reggae deejay, widely regarded as one of the most gifted lyricists of the early-to-mid 1980s dancehall era. He was shot and killed in Dorchester, Massachusetts, at the age of 37, leaving behind a powerful musical legacy that shaped the foundations of dancehall and influenced generations of deejays, including his protégé Super Cat.
