Indian actress and model Shriya Saran is one of the leading names in Telugu and Tamil cinema and has also become known for her roles in Hindi, English, Malayalam and Kannada. Having made her acting debut in 2001 starred in numerous films across a range of languages, earning widespread praise and numerous awards in the process.

Saran’s career took off quickly, with a, four movie deal with Ramoji Films. The movies lead her to a part in 2002’s ‘Santosham’ which was a commercial and critical success, winning the Filmfare Best Film Award – Telugu and the Nandi Award for Best Feature Film. Saran was also widely praised for her performance and earned a CineMAA Award nomination.

She continued to star in several films, earning lead roles in ‘Tagore’ and ‘Enakku 20 Unakku 18’, her first Tamil film. 2007 saw Saran earn her first award, the South Scope Style Award for Best Tamil Actress for her role in ‘Sivaji: The Boss’. The awards continued to come for Saran, with her earning a coveted SIIMA Award in 2015 for her role in ‘Manam’.

Along with her acting accolades, Saran has also established herself as one of India’s leading style icons, being listed as one of India’s ’50 Most Desirable Women’ by The Times of India six times.
