As the daughter of the Iraqi legend Riad Ahmed, it was only a matter of time before Rahma’s musical talents took shape to become one of the most prominent names on the scene.

With her father’s encouragement, she started singing at a very early age which shows in her vocal talents and her ability to easily sing any musical piece, no matter how simple or complex. 

A duet with Haitham Yousef was recorded in memory of her father titled “Rehamouni”. Her participation in the 2010 season of Star Academy was a turning point as she became a household name in the Arab world. Her friendly character, vocal prowess and talent, and dedication placed her among the Top 5 finalists on the show.

By 2013, she was signed to Music Is My Life for an artist management contract and a production agreement with its production arm “Watary”.

“Bosa” was released in 2014 and it earned Rahma a Murex d’Or award for Best Arab Female Rising Star. “Anoudi” was the follow-up single in 2015 any by 2016 “Weinak” was taking over the radio waves. “Khof Alay” was released as a lyrics video in 2017 and by 2018, her latest single “Waed Menni” topped the trending charts across the Arab region with more than 50 million views on YouTube in less than 3 months and millions of streams across various music platforms.

Through the years, she has kept the fans and audiences captivated by her voice with further releases expected to follow up in her career of musical success.
