Mohammed Abdu (full name is Mohammed Abdu Othman Al A'aseere) is a famous singer in the Arab world.
He was born in a poor family of a fisherman. His father died when the boy was 3 years old. So, Mohammed with his mom and siblings went to an orphanage house.
The boy studied at the Institute of industrial Jeddah, which he graduated from in 1963.
Abdu began his career as a singer in the 1960s. He sang old national songs called mawrouth (the inherited songs). He also accompanied himself with his oud in a very talented manner. His songs Al Amakin, Ashofak Kil Youm, Ana habibi are popular in the Arab world.
In 1989 when his mother died and he stopped singing entirely. The singer said that the death of his mom was the saddest event in his life.
But in 1997 Abdu was invited to a National Day celebration where he amazed the audience with his incredible talent. Then he went to London where he performed several concerts and issued 5 albums.
As for personal life, the singer had been married from 1983 to 2009 to Umm Abdul Rahman with whom Mohammed Abdu has 7 children. Then in 2011 the singer got married again. The second Mohammed Abdu wife is a French woman. Today the singer has 11 kids. The last of Mohammed Abdu enfants was born in 2022.
