Biography & Career:
Tul8te is a masked Egyptian singer, rapper, songwriter, and record producer from Cairo. The real name — Mohamed Khafagy — remained a secret for years, only revealed in February 2026 by Egypt's Musicians Syndicate. The iconic white knit mask is more than a visual statement: in the artist's own words, it symbolizes freedom and keeps the focus entirely on the music.
The nationality is Egyptian, the ethnicity Arab, and the genre an eclectic blend of pop, bossa nova, hip-hop, and psychedelic rock — a sound that has earned Tul8te comparisons to legendary Amr Diab. The age and father's identity remain private, consistent with the enigmatic persona carefully maintained throughout the career.
The debut EP Maghool dropped in May 2023, followed by albums Tesh Shabab (2024) and the breakthrough Cocktail Ghena'y (2024) under MDLBEAST Records. "Habeeby Leh" — widely considered the best song — held number one in Egypt for five consecutive weeks and crossed 10 million Spotify streams organically. Six nominations at Billboard's Arabic Music Gala followed, along with a feature on the Grammy website spotlighting Tul8te as a rising global force.
The tour launched to 10,000 fans in Cairo, and upcoming events and concerts keep drawing record crowds across the MENA region.
