Lij Michael

Lij Michael is Ethiopian hip-hop singer and songwriter who found his passion for music during the time when he started appearing in musical shows that has been organized in higher education institutions. Lij used to work as MC on many stages while also entertaining audiences with his dynamic talent laced with a spicy flavor and unique style that fuses Ethiopian and hip-hop music.

In 2007, he has written and produced his debut single titled "Arada L'arada" which has got unprecedented critical acclaim from fans and press. The music video for this single has received over 300,000 views on YouTube in the first three months of its release. He then released his second single “Zenach” which made him rapidly gain new audiences at home and abroad.

In the past five years, he has appeared on many stages along with celebrated Ethiopian musicians. With his brand new album titled ''Zaray Yehun Nege'', Faf has made a remarkable impact on the music industry in Ethiopia. Faf is known for being one of the originators of hip-hop music genre in Ethiopia with unique singing style and exceptionally gripping performance.
