Sphere Entertainment has teamed up with Abu Dhabi’s Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT) to build the legendary venue’s twin in the capital city of the UAE that promises to take entertainment in the region to new heights.

 

Although the exact location of the venue remains under wraps, Abu Dhabi’s Sphere is set to follow in the futuristic footsteps of its Las Vegas counterpart. With advanced LED displays, unparalleled sound design, and interactive shows, the venue will become a must-visit destination for concerts, performances, and cultural events. This development also aligns with Abu Dhabi’s Tourism Strategy 2030, which seeks to enhance the region’s cultural footprint and attract millions of visitors annually.

Unlike a recent spherical venue launched in Riyadh, Abu Dhabi’s Sphere promises to deliver a far more ambitious spectacle, drawing international attention. Accodring to DCT, the venue in Abu Dhabi will echo the scale of the 20,000-capacity Sphere in Las Vegas and redefine entertainment in the region.

This collaboration between DCT and Sphere Entertainment marks a significant step in expanding the brand globally, with Sphere Entertainment’s CEO James L. Dolan confirming their vision to create a worldwide network of these revolutionary venues.
