Event Highlights Across Sharjah for UAE’s 53rd National Day
Mleiha: November 21
Kickstarting the celebrations, Mleiha Heritage Village will come alive with a national march, traditional performances, and a theatrical play. Visitors can explore a dedicated heritage area featuring Bedouin tents, a marketplace for local families, and a display of government services. A free kids’ play area ensures that little ones have plenty to enjoy, alongside friendly competitions for all.
Al Madam: November 22
This historic location will host a day of heritage performances, children’s activities, and poetry sessions, all culminating in spectacular fireworks that light up the evening sky.
Khorfakkan: November 22–24
Over three days, the outdoor plaza at Khorfakkan Amphitheatre will host:
- Interactive art workshops
- Traditional performances
- Lively musical acts by the Al Mazyood military band
Evenings will feature school performances, poetry recitals, and a musical folk finale. Khorfakkan promises something for everyone, from families to culture enthusiasts.
Dibba Al Hisn: November 23
The day begins with a public march at 4 PM, followed by folkloric shows and the anticipated national operetta, which combines poetry, music, and traditional dance.
Wadi Al Helo: November 24
This picturesque location will host a day of poetry recitations, folk performances, and an awards ceremony, offering a unique blend of cultural and creative displays.
Al Dhaid City: November 27–December 1
Al Dhaid will feature a grand national march, starting at the Grand Mosque and concluding at Al Dhaid Fort. From November 28 to December 1, visitors can enjoy vibrant folklore performances, each highlighting the UAE’s rich traditions.
Al Hamriyah: November 27–28
Set against the backdrop of Al Hamriyah Beach, these celebrations feature marches, folk music, and interactive workshops for children.
Senior citizens are honored with dedicated entertainment programs, making the events inclusive for all generations.
Al Bataeh: November 28–30
A three-day celebration with a strong focus on heritage and national pride, Al Bataeh’s festivities include:
- A colorful traditional folk parade
- Horse and classic car displays
- Union Bus tours distributing UAE flags and National Day gifts
Local parks will host engaging activities, making it a hub for families and visitors.
A Special Musical Finale for Charity
