This pop-up event is the perfect opportunity to enjoy a curated selection of independent films from the region and beyond, along with engaging discussions with filmmakers and critics. Here’s the full film line-up and what to expect during the festival.
February 5 – A Tribute to David Lynch
The festival kicks off with a special tribute to legendary director David Lynch. The evening starts with The Straight Story (1999) at 6:30 PM, followed by the surreal classic Eraserhead (1977) at 9 PM. After the screenings, film experts Mohamed Aldhahri and Feras Almadi will discuss Lynch’s influence on cinema.

February 6 – Egyptian Cinema Night
Explore contemporary Egyptian cinema with two standout films. Seeking Haven for Mr. Rambo (2024) screens at 7 PM, followed by Bird (2024) at 10 PM. Director Khaled Mansour will be present for a post-screening discussion about his work and the state of Egyptian filmmaking.
February 7 – International Highlights
On the third night, catch All We Imagine As Light by Payal Kapadia at 7 PM, followed by To A Land Unknown by Madi Fleifel at 10 PM. These films bring diverse perspectives and storytelling styles to the big screen, making for a thought-provoking evening.
