Bahraini citizens can now issue, renew, or replace their national ID cards online — no matter where they are in the world. The Information & eGovernment Authority (IGA) has introduced this service through the official website, bahrain.bh, to make the process more accessible, especially for Bahrainis living abroad.

Applications can be submitted by:

  • the person needing the ID card
  • for first-degree relative (parent, child, or sibling)

Once the ID card is ready, it can either be delivered internationally through Aramex or collected in person at the Isa Town ID center in Bahrain.

This digital service is designed to simplify ID card management and reduce the need for travel. It offers a practical solution for those who are living or working overseas.
