Joggers and early risers in Saudi Arabia have something new to add to their summer calendars. Summer Splash 2025 is arriving this July, offering fun run with a bit of splash across three cities — Jeddah, Riyadh, and Al Khobar.
The event is organised by Race Arabia and is open to all levels, from first-timers to regular joggers. It kicks off in Jeddah on July 4, before heading to Riyadh on July 11 and Al Khobar on July 18.

Summer Splash 2025 in Riyadh – Details
The Riyadh leg of the event will take place on July 11 at Wadi Namar, with two main race categories:
- 1 km Fun Run: For children aged 7 and under. Start time is 5 AM
- 5 km Run: For participants aged 8 and up. Start time is 5:30 AM
The venue opens at 4 AM, so participants are encouraged to arrive early and get set. After the race, an awards ceremony will wrap up the morning. After completing the run, participants will also receive a certificate of participation and personalised photos.

Participants can collect race kits on Wednesday, July 9, and Thursday, July 10, between 3 PM and 8 PM. The pickup location is yet to be announced.
Each kit includes:
- A drawstring bag
- Race T-shirt
- Bib
- Water guns
- Sunglasses
Summer Splash is more than just a run. It’s a space to enjoy outdoor fun with family and friends. Expect interactive booths, kid-friendly activities, and community vibes throughout the morning. Registration for the Riyadh and Al Khobar events hasn’t opened yet, but announcements are expected soon.
